Key points and reminders:
- Use of the PCard requires an initial email request to psych.service@osu.edu. Please include the following details about the planned transaction in your communication: business purpose, funding used, estimated dollar amount and vendor name.
- The PCard should only be used at the designated location for the amount requested and for the items specified in the email request. Any changes should be promptly communicated to psych.service@osu.edu for updates to be considered and/or made to the approved expenditure.
- If the total amount of the bill exceeds the maximum allowable amount, or if more than $10 in sales tax is charged, the Department of Psychology requires reimbursement.
- Please specify if you are using UNIV funds or OSP (grant) funds. These have different PCards and are not interchangeable.
- If transaction requires you to agree to vendor terms and conditions, please stop and email the terms and conditions to psych.service.osu.edu. Terms and conditions must be reviewed by Ohio State before any order can be made, and the department will notify you once this review is complete.
- Any Amazon orders must be placed through a department Pcard manager, and only when the requested items are not available through a university vendor. Personal Amazon accounts cannot be used to place orders with university funds.
