The Department of Psychology produces exceptional, innovative research about the human mind, brain and behavior. Our more than 50 tenure-stream faculty and 140 graduate students work across nine different areas and training programs, where they prioritize strong theory and methods and their application to novel questions and problems. The department's research consistently receives more than $5 million annually in grant funding from prominent organizations including the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation and the United States Department of Defense, among others.
