Declare the Major
If you are a current Ohio State undegraduate student, follow the steps below to declare a major in psychology.
1 Contact us
Email psychadvising@osu.edu and indicate that you would like to declare the Psychology major. Include your first, last name and Ohio State name.#.
2 Complete Carmen module and quiz
Within two business days, the advising office will add you to an informational Carmen module and provide login instructions. Access the platform, complete the module and complete the five-question quiz afterward. You must score 100% on the quiz.
3 Complete the survey
Answer some short questions about yourself and your availability. This information will be sent to the psychology undergraduate advising office, which will reach out to you to schedule an appointment.
4 Meet with an advisor
Meet with a psychology advisor and officially declare the major.
