Class of 2019: Alexandra Goss
Alexandra, from Cincinnati, OH, added the psychology major after taking social psychology as a general education writing requirement. Since the class clarified her interest in the field, she recommends students also take PSYCH 2367.01 if they are interested in further exploring psychology. She is now double majoring in psychology and political science, and has a minor in Spanish. She is also a member of the International Affairs Scholars.
Participating in the IE University Student Exchange Agreement in Segovia, Spain was one of her most memorable experiences at OSU thus far. The psychology curriculum was taught in English and students from all around the world participated in the program. She felt her OSU education prepared her more than many of her fellow students in the program, but that learning from so many different perspectives was extremely valuable. She stated, “Not only was living in Spain an incredible experience, but I also realized that psychology is a field that unites us.”
Alexandra plans to attend law school after graduation.
