Rose Tyler '21
Senior Marketing Communications Consultant, The Ohio State University
"In January 2024, I launched my Substack publication, A Look Inside the Mind, which has amassed over 2,100 email subscribers from around the world. It's been a joy to write about big questions related to the human mind and the nature of our existence—and to connect with so many interested readers."
Justyn Harvey '14
Founder, Unyque Therapy Services
"Over the past few years, I've been running a few of my own start-up businesses. As a small-town gay kid who was raised by a single mother living in poverty, I am quite proud of my accomplishments. I run a consulting and professional services business and I operate an applied behavioral analysis therapy practice."

Awakening Serenity Counseling, Owner and Licensed Professional Counselor
"After several years working in and eventually serving as director of a group counseling practice here in the Denver area, I made the exciting leap to open my own private practice in January 2025. Located in Aurora, Colorado, this step has been the achievement of a many years-long goal. This transition reflects my ongoing commitment to creating a safe, affirming space for healing, growth and authenticity.
In my practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in trauma-informed care, including EMDR, and work with individuals and couples to help them navigate relationships, life transitions, and emotional healing — always with an emphasis on honoring each client’s individuality and inner resilience."
Theresa Jaworski '86
Private Practitioner, Licensed Psychologist
"I am presently seeing teens, young adults and adults who are dealing with medical issues, grief and loss, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression in outpatient therapy. I am also serving as the Psychological Association of Western New York's representative to the New York Psychological Association and on the membership committee for NYSPA. I have mentored psychology students and early career professionals through Ohio State and the Society of Pediatric Psychology, and I have supervised Child Psychiatry Residents through the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University of Buffalo.
My newest pursuit will be as a Reading/Literacy Volunteer in the Buffalo City Schools to help first through third graders improve fluency and comprehension in their reading. I can't wait to ignite more excitement and passion in reading for youngsters who would normally fall through the cracks of our education system!"
