Is that news really "fake" or is it biased?
In a recently published article, Jeff Grabmeier examines the "fake news" era we live in and how individuals determine the credibility of a news source. According to this new study, bias, not just trustworthiness and credbility, plays a role in how people choose what to believe when reading an article distributed by a source.
Psychology staff including Laura Wallace, Duane Wegner and Richard Petty researched and authored the study, which is available to read in-depth in the journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
