The Coutellier Lab has recently been awarded a 2-year NIH (National Institutes of Health) grant towards "Prefrontal modulation of vulnerability to stress-induced emotional dysregulation." The goal of the grant, as noted by assistant professor Dr. Laurence Coutellier, is to "provide novel insight into the mechanisms by which stress leads to dysregulation of emotional behaviors in susceptible individuals in order to gain a better understanding of mood disorders, including anxiety and depression."

Congratulations to Dr. Coutellier and her team!
