Courtney L. Benjamin Wolk

Courtney L. Benjamin Wolk Ph.D., an undergraduate alumni of the Psychology Department, was recently named the 2020 recipient of the Judy E. Hall Early Career Psychologist Award.

The annual award is given to a National Register psychologist with less than 10 years of postdoctoral experience. Award winners are given a $10,000 stipend.

According to the National Register's Awards Committee, they were impressed with Dr. Wolk's "development and implementation of the Coping First Aid program to provide accessible support to healthcare workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic." Dr. Wolk will be using the stipend she received from this award to expand this program and evaluate the effectiveness of it.
