Class of 2018: Kyle Cohen
Kyle is from Beachwood, Ohio and chose Ohio State University because he has always felt like a Buckeye, as both of his parents are alumni. One of his favorite OSU traditions is singing Carmen Ohio at the football games. According to Kyle, choosing Psychology as a major was “a natural choice, as I was able to combine so many passions while taking classes that will help me in my future.”
He has enjoyed the last three years and his many college experiences; everything from researching pediatric psychology and cancer treatments with Dr. Vannatta at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, to being a Student Leadership Advocate. Kyle was also one of 20 students to travel with the Psychology Education Abroad program in May 2016. Per Kyle; “Being my first time abroad, it was so rewarding having the ability to share this experience with so many awesome fellow Buckeyes. I can go on and on about this trip.…I would do anything to be drinking coffee on our Venice balcony right about now!”
Kyle is currently working on graduate school applications and finalizing plans after graduation, knowing he wants to work with others and make a positive difference in the world. Kyle states: “Not only is psychology fascinating material, but it can help you succeed in any field down the road.”
