In this 90-minute session, we will watch two TED Talks by experts on motivation and explore the technique of motivational interviewing & listening. We'll have a lively discussion of the material and develop some ideas for how you can get back on track and finish the semester strong! Pizza will be served.
The Stop! And Think! Series is a set of documentary/informational films or podcasts meant to challenge us to think carefully about our world and the culture in which we live. Each selection was chosen for its relevance to the field of psychology, but also to our everyday lives. We hope to inspire a sense of greater connection to the world and each other with our discussions of the important, provocative, and contemporary issues that impact us all. Each event will include a broadcast of the recording followed by a discussion with Dr. Lisa Cravens-Brown.
