PSYCH 3331: Abnormal Psychology
This is an overall introduction to psychopathology and clinical psychology. We will explore how the world has historically viewed mental health conditions, and how treatments have evolved over time. We will discuss the theoretical models as well as the development, symptomology, and treatment of the major clinical disorders. We will also discuss the classification system utilized by professionals in the field. In this class, you will learn to critically evaluate research and treatments of mental disorders and learn ways to decrease stigma towards people with mental health conditions.
